How Aera Finance Works
Aera Finance Treasury Vaults allow protocols to define a treasury objective and let the protocol handle execution. Each vault operates with a set of predefined rules — called "hooks" — that determine how assets are rebalanced, where yield is deployed, and how operational expenses are funded.
The guardian system provides an additional layer of oversight. Guardians can execute permitted actions within the defined strategy but cannot withdraw funds or act outside the rules set by the vault owner. This creates a strong separation of powers that is enforced entirely onchain.
Because Aera Finance is non-custodial, vault owners retain full withdrawal rights at all times. No multisig, no delays, no counterparty risk. Just clean, auditable smart contract logic.
